What personal data we collect and why we do it
User account data
The only mandatory data to create the access account to the users’ reserved area is their name and email in the case of dive school administrators and name in the case of the user registered as a student or instructor.
Media
It is not possible to upload photos on our website.
Contact Forms
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience, so you don’t have to refill your details when you leave another comment. These cookies will last a year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you sign in, we’ll also set up a number of cookies to save your login information and display options on the screen. Login cookies last two days, and screen options last one year. If you select “Remind me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you sign out of your account, login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. Expires after 1 day.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators and Dive School administrators can also view and edit this information.
What rights do you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request receipt of a file exported from the personal data we have about you, including any data you have provided to us. You may also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Your comments and access to the reserved area can be verified through an automatic spam detection service.
