CMAS REPRESENTATION

CMAS was founded in 1959 and is currently represented in more than 130 national organisations on 5 continents.

Although it is strongly associated with the sporting side, it has one of the oldest and most highly regarded international recreational, scientific and apnea diving training systems in the world.

In Portugal, the World Confederation of Underwater Activities (CMAS) is represented by CMAS Portugal, with a structure made up of three technical committees.
